Calypso’s fleece stats have been quite a surprise to us. Despite the high micron count, his fleece has quite a soft handle to it. This is likely a result of the amount of uniformity compared to the micron count reflected in the low CV score. His stats are also quite inconsistent with what is typical of his parents. As a result of his fleece and due to his small stature, we have chosen not to use Calypso as a stud. What he lacks in size, he certainly makes up with spunk. It seems he doesn’t realize how small he is.
